After gathering inspiration, I pitched my vision for the welcome kit to the people team: a high-quality box of goodies that demonstrated to employees that Courier is a creative, caring company. The vision resonated with others, so I kicked off the project with an exploration of various illustrations to be featured on swag. Throughout the process, I checked in with and got feedback from the people team to ensure that we delivered a meaningful gift to new and existing employees.

I drew inspiration from real-life pigeons, cartoon birds, and one very special dinosaur from my youth.
I sketched various concepts and illustration styles in order to determine the strongest direction.
I shared these sketches with the people team and got valuable feedback—Pip wouldn't have donned a safari hat without their input!
We made wearable, playful streetwear in the form of a t-shirt and crewneck with an embroidered patch.
And stickers, too!

My favorite part of the project was bringing Pip to life as a plush.
